1 cup of sugar
Glaze2 tablespoons lemon juice
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine and stir together wet ingredients except for the blueberries, i.e. butter, lemon juice, eggs, milk, lemon zest.
Combine and mix together the dry ingredients: sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until blended well.
Combine wet and dry ingredients except for the blueberries. Stir until well blended.
Carefully fold in the blueberries until mixed well with the other ingredients.
Bake for approximately 35 minutes in a greased bread pan or until a toothpick comes out dry. Let stand for a few minutes.
Combine all ingredients drizzle over the top of the bread and spread as you would a cake icing.
